David Cassidy talks to Terry Wogan about his 'retirement' years after 1975. Interesting.

Before that he sings 'The Last Kiss'.

  • The identity he was looking for was Barry Manilow?!?

  • @allurabunny Hey, I do see the resemblance. You could be right but then again DC hasn't got the nose to start with. No, maybe not. Good point though. Cheers.

  • You know, I love how he tells the interviewer "God Bless you" at the end. That was so sweet.

  • As far as mannerism, DC's got it. It's the upbringing. Not just on TV, but in real life, too.

  • Just read his autobiography " Could it be Forever" and it was such an interesting read. He was in a really bad place at this stage. He was just about to divorce a woman he refuses to speak about even now and was about to go completely broke. A year after this interview he was homeless and down to his last 800 dollars

  • michaelleacy, thanks for additional info. DC was down but definitely not out. Fans are glad to know he's back to stay.

  • Bloody hell... he could REALLY sing. Even the horrible 80's production can't get in the way of that.

  • wogan talks about knee touching then says 'well i'm delighted to give it to you' hee hee ha ha. brilliant interview wogan come back.

two guys with a wicked sense of humour.

  • Brilliant song.:) Still sounds good after all this time.:)

  • A lovely guy! Guess you had to be there in America at the time to understand what he went through. Loved him so much when I was a kid and so glad he is still going strong. xx

  • I don't get it. He quits being Keith Partridge because of the bubble gum music he had to sing. Then he goes and does this? I give up!
