Recorded during the Southwark Cathedral Merbecke Choir's tour to mark the 400th anniversary of the death of Tomás Luis de Victoria, one of the great composers of the Renaissance, with a performance of his late masterpiece, the Missa Pro Defunctis of 1608.

Bach is better.

It's a shame this is transposed up from the original manuscript...those low Bb in the bass part are amazing. Nice performance, anyhow.
