Instead of deploying all these "smart" appliances, which will cost a lot of marketing to get sold... why not promote the idea of working at different hours, so we don't get these '"peak usages at around 6.00 PM"...?

This is a retarded advert by a retarded company that's just discovered heat exchangers and the internet - if they had consumer and light industrial use product's ready to hit the market today i'd give them kudos; however, until minimum standards are laid down by state and federal law the most wasteful planet destroying products will continue to reign supreme in the market because of inertia.
