Amazing, here I am in my forties in the UK viewing advertisements on the internet and reminiscing on my childhood....As my Dad always said, the ad man is a bad man. But seriously, the memes that advertisers use are great triggers for associations and emotions and useful to trek into past mind space. For instance that Clover milk ad. I remember clearly us as kids and my parents protesting that the kittens were exposed to electric shocks in order to film the ad...
