@vicotrance2007 my comment wasn't to make me seem smarter and make him seem dumb. my comment was to let amateurs know that this is not the correct way to mix, and if you start doing it this way your only going to set yourself back from learning the right way. after you start doing this and master what he did and then realize it still doesn't sound good and then waste a year of your life going back to where you started.

To be honest I have no idea about any of this stuff, but from what I heard at the start it sounded much "fuller" even though things were clashing left and right. I dont really think having to sacrifice the sounds just to hear the kick clearer is really worth it. But this still helped me personally. Theres so much you can do with these Equalizers and limiters that I didnt know about before.
