  • Guacamole+oil and vinegar=guasacaca

  • Hi l am Russian, and my wife is from Venezuela! I asked her to make Guasacaca for me but she said NO, because i do not behave very well.

So, here l am checking out the recipe, and I will do it buy my self and hoping Guasacaca will come out the same as her.

Thanks to the whole Venezuelan nation for this tasty recipe.

    From Russia with love!

  • most of the "recipes" for guasacaca I've seen are just recycled guacamole recipes - chefs don't usually seem to understand the difference. :-P Nice to FINALLY find a good recipe for an amazing sauce - Makes me miss Merida!

  • Where can I get his always hungry shirt?! I want it!

  • eres venezolano hermano? que buena receta! un abrazo!

  • Excelente Jorge!

  • The original guasaca is made with corn oil. In Venezuela we rarely use Olive oil 'cause is too expensive. Anyways....excellent recipe. 100% accurate. Thanks for keeping the recipe traditional.

  • corn oil is better, try to put a little bit of salt and garlic, is fantastic the flavor.

    Good Recipe.
