  • Katharine seemed like such an interesting person; it's such a shame that she made so many hostile comments towards Meryl Streep.

  • She's endlessly fascinating.

  • kate was every bit as she appeared. a man and not a woman because she wanted a career. however, today things are a bit better. it is always helpful to have an understanding partner.

  • I'll wear it to your funeral

  • Barbara sounds a bit rude ... So glad Kate shut her down!

  • Saw the play where she's being interviewed in this clip., Someone took a picture w/ a flash during the show. She actually stopped the performance, asked the person to leave, and told them they would be refunded their money.Never seen anything like it, before or since. Very awkward.and weird moment.

  • Nobody cares Barbara, get over it. Mrs. Hepburn was awesome....I look up to her. I've seen almost all of her movies and love the Tracy Hepburn an Grant and Hepburn team ups. She did nine with Spencer and for with Cary, My favorite Katharine Hepburn movies are The Philadelphia story, Undercurrent, Adams Rib, The African Queen, The Rainmaker and Suddenly Last Summer with Another favorite, Elizabeth Taylor.

While I was writing my previous comment in pure sarcasm making fun of the Meryl fanatics, I appreciate your comments, CoolBeagle, and I agree with them. Meryl is great for this generation, but she cannot even touch the immortals of screen acting like Katharine, Bette, Lauren, Joan, Ava, Elizabeth, Laurence, Spencer, Humphrey, etc. etc. Without their innovations, Streep would be nothing.

  • @outinsider Meryl (love her), but shes not the "acting goddess".

Katharine Hepburn would have that title, then Bette Davis, and then maybe Elizabeth Taylor or anybody from that generation. Lauren Bacall, Joan Crawford, Ava Gardner, etc....

Meyrl is great, GREAT for THIS generation. But can't be put up against the Golden Era of actors/actresses.

Sorry its true. And I Love Meyrl Streep

  • @Mike6E

How dare she not love Meryl Streep?! I mean, Meryl is a perfect actress and human being who can do no wrong! Even though her personality is so into her role when she isn't acting she's very acerbic. But, who I am to diss the acting goddess known as La Streep?

  • @hippieforhimbradd44 Lol, I agree :D Barbara didn't really know how to react to that XD

  • @er90 was passing the torch of best actress to her.
