Dan Dare (ZX Spectrum) Speedrun: 11min24sec

After doing the walkthrough I decided to do a speedrun with the goal of doing it under 10 minutes. (the normal walkthrough timed at over 18 minutes).

Again, I used the EmuZWin 2.7 emulator's "Time Back" function which lets me undo back in time in 2 seconds intervals. A bit like "Prince of Persia Sands of Time". This time I was more familiar with the game and used the undo function 15 times.

The 10 minutes goal was a bit too hard (I think 10:30-11:00 is technically possible without editing the game code) so the speedrun ended at 11:24, with certain backtracking parts sped up during editing.

The video was spliced together/sped up using After Effects and VirtualDub was used to compress it/mix in the final audio. Enjoy!
