I saw the GP in Italian on the TV with commentator the designer of the V12 Lamborghini, the great Mario Forghieri; he was raged with Suzuki because on onboard he saw the engine over the limit; but I think this time Suzuki was right, he come third on the GP

The two teams that withdrew prior to this grand prix were the Eurobrun and the Life teams.
Roberto Moreno, who was driving for the former, was picked to drive for Benetton after Alessandro Nannini was injured in a helecopter crash. Thus Moreno would eventually finish 2nd, a well deserved finish.
