It's obvious isn't it? My friend Abe Gurko and I discuss his ridiculous video. Bill Shatner doesn't know what he's talking about but given that he's 80; is it any surprise? Join me in answering Bill's rant and don't forget... he likes to be called Han Solo.

These people are turds. Carrie Fisher almost had the right answer. The are different. Trek is Sci-Fi SW is fantasy. Trek is smarter, SW is a basic good vs evil story. Two different genres. EP I II and III had better effects than IV V VI however vastly shittier films with no soul. In that case I'll take Star Treks ASSfects over Phantom shit etc ass any day of the week.

Pretty funny. It's hard not to be entertained and sucked into the original Star Wars films, but I prefer Star Trek's science fiction elements and educated and hard-working people struggling together for good compared to the sort of royalty, nepotism, inheritsm, and heroic fantasy elements of Star Wars. That's also why I think putting a J.J. Abrams into directing the new Star Trek reboot was a bad idea. First thing he did was Hollywood it up and have Kirk inherit his abilities from his dad.

''Although the "many worlds" theory may have been discredited in real life, it seems to be the only way to explain Star Trek time travel as we've seen it on the show. It explains causality paradoxes in "City on the Edge of Forever" and STFC, and it also explains why time travel is not being used to solve problems, because it means that time travel doesn't really change anything. It only moves the traveller into an alternate universe where events unfold more to his liking.''

Starfleet = a minority is Vulcan so Jedi mind tricks would be effective on 99% of starfleet personnel. Bye bye federation. ^^

''Fortunately, transporters are easy to disrupt. Deflector shields, ambient radiation, and even weak magnetic fields (as seen on the prison asteroid in ST6) can easily prevent transportation. The Federation will therefore be unable to board our starships in combat. sensor-jamming equipment can render transport virtually impossible by keeping the transporter operators from being able to find safe destinations for their troops and weapons.''

Transporters are useless toys in combat.

No, there is a LOT of philosophy with the Jedi, so it isn't all that basic. Jedi are very similar to Vulcans in fact. Both are different and excellent in their own respect.

Trek has far more advanced technology. They can time travel for crying out loud! Game over! They have Transporter technology. They could beam a matter-antimatter bomb onto every Star Destroyer and Death Star and still be home in time for supper. And remember, the Force only works on the weak minded. So let's see them try their Jedi mind tricks on a Vulcan.

Star Trek, Star Wars and Doctor Who should unite and take out the other Sci-Fi series.
