36 US States are allowed to discriminate against gay people in housing, 29 States can fire us for being gay; THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. We talk about marriage because we need to separate Church and State. The word "marriage" is codified (meaning that laws are written using the status of marriage and the word marriage). We are denied 1100 different rights, because they wont let us have the word "marriage". if you can't handle it, create the civil notion of marriage, and we'll all be happy.
