As Roman Catholic Religious Missionary Priests, we work for and are in solidarity with the marginalized sectors of society (the indigenous communities, the urban poor, migrant workers, refugees, and displaced populations). We do this in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, the United States of America and in Guatemala.

it is my inner desire to become a missionary. When I was in my early 20's, I attended several retreats offered by some missionary congregation hoping I can be a missionary. However, I was not accepted telling me "it's not yet my time". So i go on with life: studied and enjoyed life. I graduated with 2 courses, worked and traveled in different countries.
Now, i'm 36, single, and the desire still lives on. In fact, it's even intense...
Can i still be a missionary at this point in my life?

Yes, you can still be a missionary through the Missionaries of Jesus Lay Associates. Call the Missionaries of Jesus in the Philippines (02) 696 5152
or in the USA 213 389 8439.
Look also for the Missionaries of Jesus in the Facebook. Be a fan of the Friends and Disciples and you will see a lot of stories about the Missionaries of Jesus.
God bless you
