@rickylascaze001 he is using sylenth1, if you dont have it open sytrus and go to bass preset "electric" kill the mid frequencies, and kill 40 hz and less. you got a strong bass.

Awesome tutorial and music.
But I have one question.
I'm very curious about what you are doing from 02:30 up untill 02:50, what's going on there in the mixer?!
Could you advice me, give me a link or what so ever?
I'd appreciate it
Again great videos.

@anatolianINVASION Hi, I'm creating a sidechain. E.g adding a peak controller to the bassdrum channel that is setup to control the threshold of the compressor, to give that thumping effect (or simply to have the music "ducking" behind the bassdrum.

@gloryboxmusic
Oke I understand now thank you. One thing though, should I keep specific settings (preset?) in mind when I set up the peak controller?

@anatolianINVASION Not really, the trigger of the peak should be with a fast attack and short decay in my opinion (so a quick but strong BD will do the trick), then fiddle around with the controls until you get desired result. Press mute if you want to use a different BD in your track so you dont have 2 overlaying bassdrums
