If I did this for a living, I'd be fired.

  • Can't see how you'd burn the tip of the bar here. Was it maybe an extra-snug chain on a hardnose bar? And/or insufficient lube? (Noting you did not seem to imply sprocket or roller-nose.)

  • fuck that took 4 ever

  • fell

    verb (used with object)

    1.

to knock, strike, shoot, or cut down; cause to fall: to fell a moose; to fell a tree.

The proper term is felling. Please learn it and teach it to anyone who wants to comment about tree felling. I have been doing line clearance tree trimming since 1995. I understand that you don't have to be able to read to do it.

  • Yar, I thought I'd see how hard it was to cut a few four-footers with my MS210 and damnit I pinched the saw every time, lol.

  • you're better than that stupid Drew Finn from the "expert village" that for sure!

  • You are wise to wear the helmet. I cut trees for a living and my helmet has saved me many times. Keep cutting, be carefull with practice you will do better in time. I would recommend watching Tim Ard's videos he has some really good videos that give really good instruction on dropping trees.

  • At least you are aware of your own stupidity.

You shouldn't play with other peoples tools.
