the first two look like photographs, it seemed that real. Beautiful work.

I doubt someone is gonna answer this but whatever:
Never have I seen a painter get this results from mostly alla prima painting. While Scott is really talented (to perfectly place the hues and shades) his paints must also play a role. Naples yellow, titanium white and some sort of blue-ish gray is my guess.
