you ARE a foreigner in your own country. if you're not native american, you are foreign. & so am i. this is why the harassment of mexicans, in particular, pisses me off so much. papers or no papers, most mexicans, and a lot of other people from south of the border, are to a significant extent indigenous americans. & the foreign colonizers still seem to want to twist the reality backwards and say that foreigners are americans & americans are foreigners. The area you are discussing is on a major route that deals with illegal traffic of humans and drugs. Hence the boarder patrol check points. We as a country have a right to protect our selves and have failed at even doing that in recent years. Also, Yes, you have a drivers license, right? Your car is registered? Hmm, showing papers then aren't you. Why take offence? Say, Yes I'm american here is my Drivers license, end of story.

@lamaddussa OK since this is history and the borders have already been made. You think there should be another American/Mexican war for Mexico to try to get land? Men have fought and died to make The United States what it is. Also Mexico Sold the Land to us. So we fought and won and than bought the land. If Mexico liked it so much why didn't they fight harder to keep it? It's History and we don't plan on going back. Most of them are from Spain. hell i know one from Russia/Mexico.

huh? i guess you don't know anything about mexico. the mexican people. for the most part have mixed indigenous and spanish ancestry. most have significant indigenous ancestry. in addition to their indigenous american ancestry the u.s. stole half of mexico in a dirty war, so a significant part of the u.s. really is mexico and mexicans should be free to come here. u.s. descendants of purely foreign immigrants & colonizers are the real foreigners here & have no real right to be here.
