رضا شاه ایران نوین را پایه گذاری کرد و از اینکه انگلیس نتوانست او همچون شاهان قاجار تحت فرمان خود درآورد از خشم او را متهم به همکاری با آلمان نازی کرد با توجه به اعلام بیطرفی ایران در جنگ جهانی دوم به ایران حمله کردند
