Thanks for watching. The very same thing is still ongoing. Just found hacked accounts offering (fake) apple ipads or within the last week to week and a half. There are still redirect (to fake ebay page) listings being reported to. There are more scams on ebay now than there ever were. Worst part, the scammers are now using paypal accounts which there is a huge black market for. Several sites now offer fake ebay and paypal accounts for sale.

So there is no way to trust anything there.

glad you shared this useful information. my old buyer account was recently hacked and after a long process i was able to get it closed. seen this video and decided to close my seller account too. i swore off of selling on ebay once the feedback policies changed. i won't contribute to their immoral activities in any way.

also closed my paypal account since they are owned by ebay. this will be hard to get used to, but i'll work around it.

People need to make sure to close those dormant eb-pp accs & associated bnk/CC accs #s etc. eb is still under hack attack, still in denial.

Looking back, & after everything that's transpired since, I feel strongly I've been correct in many ways...

Not only did Meg fly w ungawdly amount$, but now eb is in serious decline & it looks like the current mngmnt is destroying it before our very eyes!

I remember posting my FIRST item for sale on ebay a few years back. It didn't sell..but they wanted to charge me both a listing fee AND a "percentage comission on the sale"...even though no sale had occurred. After MANY DOZENS of attempts to contact them about the problem, I decided that I would simply start logging their contacts that did not address the situation at hand, and charge them for my time. Eventually, they sent a collection agency after me. Why be open when you can screw people?

Yep, that is one of the big problems with ebay, those canned emails. Most everyone will probably finally give up and just pay the fraudulent-unwarranted fees.

I seriously doubt that a real human being ever reads an email. We have all seen thousands & thousands of reports where folks got back replies which had NOTHING to do with the original email.

Apparently eb only uses live people to harass bloggers and posters on their very own "Community Forums" and elsewhere.
