http://www.synergy-athletics.com I made this homemade tornado medicine ball for around $10. In the video, it has a jump stretch band on it, as it provides some assistance for the younger athletes. I also attach rope from 1 1/2 inches to 4 inches to it.

This exercise works the throwing motion forwards AND BACKWARDS which will help your athletes avoid weaknesses, imbalances, and injuries. Try it out, send your feedback to the website above.
