Working on rock/blues phrasing, trying to improve.

Private since it was recorded in January because of the dreadful flubs I make in the tricky parts. But I like the tone so much I'm letting it out of the shame box.

Tone: Splawn Competition, 1st Gear OD2, 50 watt mode, volume knocked down in the loop, 2x English Celestion G12M Greenbacks.

Love these Blues Saraceno Samick TV Twenty guitars. Read my review of this one here: http://pickroar.com/431/samick-tv-twenty-review/

And about the differences between series and parallel cab wiring (this is series) here:
http://pickroar.com/378/wiring-a-2x12-cab-parallel-versus-series/

I used the A minor blues backing here. G'head and blast your own solo over it: http://www.box.net/shared/x7qncnl77t

Put it as a response if you like, as long as you're not too good.

  • @thebibleisalltrue It has some David Gilmour tone in there too.

  • @zombielolocaust The playing is great and so is the tone! Dude it sounds like Jeff Beck. How can that be bad? This one hurt when I heard it..........it made me miss my Splawn.
