34 New Orleans homeowners who face foreclosure actions from Fortress. Edwards worked for Fortress Investment Group, getting paid $479,512. He also had $2.7 million to $8.5 million invested in Fortress, according to his personal financial report. And Fortress executives have donated generously to his presidential campaign—company employees have donated more than $150,000 toward his candidacy this year.

President Johnson during a hurricane in the same region went there in the middle of the night and stood in the dark with a flashlight to lend aid and comfort. The President is more than just a manager he is supposed to be a leader who cares about the citizens.

You are reaching: did not ask about JRE being everywhere-only 1-his "home" state. Agree, Katrina is more dire. JRE is in the media telling how much he cares but has done nothing to help his own-just like when he was our senator. Other candidates are not using NO as a theme for campaigns, so no, I do not "hold that against them". Besides, they are not from NC, so why would I? You are missing my point altogether.

Everything Edwards does is self-serving-just ask us in North Carolina.

JRE moved from SC when he was 5, or 6? Wow, that accent really made an impression, huh?. Its an act. I have family near there, Greeneville & Wallhalla, that have visited a lot.  Haven't heard quite that same accent.

I'm from the same part of SC where Edwards originated, and I can assure you that his accent is commonplace!

Your argument is flawed. Edwards obviously can't be everywhere a hurricane has hit. The Katrina situation is more currently dire than the Floyd situation. None of the other candidates are there either - holding that against them? There are legitimate reasons to dislike Edwards, I'm sure, but you've espoused none of them.
