Robert Ginty Tribute Video. RIP 1948-2009

Robert Ginty is a legend in the world of action and exploitation cinema.

He began his career as a touring musician playing drums for the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. Eventually he transitioned to acting, beginning his career with more dramatic fare. He was a favorite of Hal Ashby and appears in several of his films. He is perhaps best known for his role in Paperchase, in which he appears with his friend and mentor John Houseman. He eventually moved to directing, working in film, television and theatre.

Robert died of cancer on September 21, 2009 in Los Angeles.
