  • ok well let me wait to take my sat and get all my college stuff ready and i will send you my information and everything needed to get a scholarship because you know its always good to get multiple scholarships not just one that way you have options

  • That is cool but the earlier you send info the better. I will keep an eye out for it.

  • Man this brings back GREAT memories. this is when HORSEPOWER was setting ourselves out on the map. T-PHI!!!!!!!

  • Really. Well our band Director comes out to Texas often. I am sure you could get a accademic scholarship with VSU. If your serious just send your info by e-mail and I can get it to the director and our recruitment team.

  • lol oh yeah that part is taken care of well idk about my bro but i keep strait A's in my class and im taking my sat soon so yeah and yes we play at a college level i think because we have played with alumni from our school and tubas from grambling state university and they always tell us that we are up there they always want us at their college but me im trying to get into horsepower but if i can you know education is education so il get in else were to get a good ed

  • LOL, that is great man well good luck recruiting and I hope you and your brother play at the college level. Of course we would love to have you out in VA but the main thing is you get in school and get that education. Best of luck.

  • seriously i think i wouldnt be good if it wernt for horsepower because i was on flute then out of no were i switched to tuba and that same year i became section leader over my bro who has been playing 3 years b4 me. but i can double tongue hit hight notes and blast low notes and everything i just need a section and i introduced my bro to you guys fanfares and learned them and we wreck everyone lol just us two against like 10 sometimes

  • im always on the move trying to get ppl to be in my section but its like they think band is lame when they dont realize that its talent wasted by not joining. But its only been 2 tubas in my section since i became section leader and its been that way and im working harder now cuz my brother and i are both seniors and we need someone to keep our section going and keep our record we havent been beat yet and i wanna keep it that way.

  • Sounds good man but you really need to find a way to build up the rest of your section. As the leader you are responsible for getting them up to par. Have to get them practicing more and don't be affraid to ask the director for help or guidance, espeically with weaker players. Keep crushing playa!

  • man forreal my section aint even a section im the section leader and my bro is next to me on tuba but we wreck this and we get everyone in dallas when we call them out with this one man we good i just wish i had a bigger section so the chords could be brought out and heard cuz i can hit that top note and my bro hits the f but still atleast 5 tubas and we will tear anyone in dallas up.
