It was in fact a mid air overtaken, since our plane was a bit more faster then the easey jet. Both aircrafts was on route from London to Faro (Portugal). The "overtaken" took more then a hour because the aircrafts was almost at the same speed. The vertical separation appear to be more then 1,000ft, the minimum allowed in Europe, so nothing unusual occoured. The easy jet plane, landed a few minutes after us, at the Faro airport (LPFR). I saw him descend almost at the same time, a little bit behind us, and there was no other airport around
thats at least 2km whitch is the minimum..

I believe that with vertical separation, wich the minimum is 300mts (1000ft), the horizontal separation can be 0 (one plane can go above or under other plane). În this case I think the distance will be around 500mts, no more then that. I could see the ID number on the tail (well just a blur, but still...) ;-)
