What a rabbit does before giving birth

what my rabbit, fudge, did before she gave birth, we were really surprised as she had only prepared 20 minutes before birth!.. because usually a rabbit would normally prepare for birth a few weeks, maybe days before. If you notice that she has only one ear its because a fox came D:: and managed to stick his claw in her cage and grab her ear. but she is a very BRAVE Rabbit :D, She's been throuqh ALOT :o And She's Still Survived :Dshe's the Best Rabbit In The World :D :]] She's So Pretty! too :D

A day or two or on the same day of birth, the mother will make a nest… my doe nest on the day of birth…

Female rabbits are ready to mate @ 4 to 6 months n will become good mothers… Rabbits can have 5 to 12 babies, but to have a big litter its best to mate the doe with 2 males…Does will become pregnant @ first mating… Add nest box on 28th day babies are born on 30th day…

Sorry for the late reply,
I wouldn't recommend having a lot of contact with the babies, it's okay to touch them a little (all that rubbish about the mother leaving them after people touch the babies are myths) but to be on the safe side i wouldn't have a lot of contact with them :D just feed/look after the mother as you normally would :)
