I avoid the centre like an infectious disease. Shame you can't avoid a view of it from anywhere in the damn county. Well done there Derby City Council! You've made Derby stick out all right - like a sore thumb!

Shame it has ripped the heart of the town, 3 cheers to Primark who refused to pay the excessive rents, which incidentally you contribute to in the inflated prices on every till transaction when you shop at the centre.
With the current financial climate, it will be interesting to see how many of the retailers renew the leases and how many decide to reopen outside the cente in the empty shops that Westfield created.
