iRobot Roomba Model 4000

Here's my newest find, a Roomba Model 4000 robotic vacuum. Originally 20 bucks from a very nice lady on Craigslist, I got it for 8 bucks because it needed a new battery from sitting around too long without charging it. The previous owner could no longer use it because of a small dog that didn't like it! I ordered a battery and much to my surprise got it in 3 days. I replaced the standard grey 60 minute battery with a yellow APS battery which lasts 120 minutes. This works really well, as it does seem to keep all my dog and cat hair well under control, which was my main purpose for it. As the battery discharges, the green light gradually fades to orange and eventually red then shuts down with a "dead battery" song and a flashing red light. It came with the quick charger and the manuals. I want to get a virtual wall to keep it out of my kitchen and also I would like the home base where it automatically returns there to charge.

I bought one at a yard sale for a $1. I had to get a battery and new tires for it and now it works well. Best purchase from a yard sale. Mine is the very very first one that they had at Sharper Image.
