@ranka35 He also made an appearance on SNL in a sketch where a serious director (Kelsey Grammer) makes an episode of "Baywatch". Hal is in it at the end along with Patti Lupone and Christine Baranski, and it seems like the director's methods are the same no matter what he's directing. :)
