...a sad bunny trying to compete with drama whores and beauty queens

So after driving for 20 hrs, I arrive at about 11am, me and PZ have a coffee, then we record an interview for about an hour, then Im back on the road for another 7 or so hours. PZ never batted an eyelid at my appearance, but then again, I wouldnt have expected him to, not only is he a fellow academic, but he could see that I was a one man operation functioning out of a compact, who had made a 100+ mile detour to see him.
There are expected limits to what one man in these circumstances can achieve.

And what thanks do i get making this sacrifice?

Page after page of bitching about.... the sound quality, the choice of clothes, the way you look, the positions of the cameras, and how unprepared I look.

...and I think to myself, 'well that was worth doing wasn't it.'

But I think there is a lesson here other than 'don't bother next time', and thats Im not sure given what people evidently want if one man can really compete in this sort of arena.

And yeah.... that makes me kinda a sad bunny :-(
