@TheFrugalGamer Very Good What about UPC Scanners that we see in most shops now a days ? Ok I Will Tell First of all you have to know that Technology instruments began bigger and enormous then it shrink or become smaller by the days but the Idea of Technology it self existed from long long times. Yes about UPC scanners these devices that any one can hold it with his hand and scan the barcode with the first begin of this familiar shape and model go back to early 1980's in Most Advanced

@gorsian1979 Barcodes were for sure used BEFORE 1974 but not UNTIL 1974 did they begin to use the UPC scanners that we see here.

@TheFrugalGamer other wise their cloth model seems to be 1960's and Early 1970's It isn't make any sence that if we believe that this cloth model continued till 1980

@TheFrugalGamer No I think That Real History of recording bar codes is in 1960's Look at real Magazines that Issued in United states in 1960's I have a magazine called Tantan issued in 1969 in Egypt of course translated to Arabic I read this in it Also apply this on cars I have a real magazine called EL NASR For Cars issued in 24 - 1 -1990 told that 1990's cars characteristics that most of 1990's cars have Rounded roof compact body like exactly cars that we see today

@gorsian1979 Barcodes began to be used in 1974...the first recorded scanning was on a pack of chewing gum in 1974. From this video we see that barcodes have been fully implemented on all products, so I think 1980 is pretty accurate.
