Live recordings from Kenny Rogers and Dottie West are really rare so I'm excited that I found the videos and I hope you'll enjoy them like I do everyday.
'Every Time Two Fools Collide' was Kenny's and Dottie's first duet song and became very fast a number one record. The song was originally released on the duet album 'Every Time Two Fools Collide'.

In 1991 Dottie West died after a car accident. We say Rest in peace, Dottie, and thank you for all these lovely songs!

  • Love those two...I saw them perform at the Ohio State Fair ..What a show they put on, It was great! I think it was 1977.

  • Thank you for sharing!

  • R.I.P. Dottie...what a wonderful talent!

  • Lucky Clark did an excellent version of this song

  • @tranurse THATS BCAUSE IT DONT GET NO BETTER

  • my dad loved this song.

  • @dh1928july You're -talking rubbish

  • Also to add, Dottie is wearing a Bob Mackie original designed just for her. She was the only female in Country Music to wear his designs. She had 20 overall. I'm proud to say that I own this one in my collection!

  • Written by my dear friend Jan Dyer (and co-writer Jeff Twell), Billie Jo Spears recorded it as a single before producer Larry Butler convinced Kenny to put his vocals on it during a Dottie West recording session. Jan worked for United Artist Records/Nashville and, as she was sitting at her desk one day, two guys knocked over her Christmas cactus, to which she exclaimed "Well. Who picks up the pieces every time two fools collide?" Thus this legendary Country song was born and became a #1 hit!

  • Two great singers together made such beautiful music. This was a wonderful song, one I will always love! Country Music today, is NOT country music.

  • She had a very big heart and is greatly missed. What a voice! Wow!

  • I know her son. He has some cool stories.

  • I forgot this song i finally found it it is great fro two great country music stars

  • How rude people can be talking about,Kenny like that, not many people can say that they made $250,000,000,000 off of one song, and in the top 12 in a century.

  • Dottie has the voice--Rogers is all show--he must be in pain or over -acting

  • wow how wonderful to be seeing this as a live performance, thank you for putting this up! god bless miss Dottie West!

  • is he having a seziure?

  • @ir0n23 She did die in a car accident.

  • @regiaous6996 killed or she died because of a car accident?

  • Kenny Rogers could f--- up a wet dream. Why not over-sing it a little Kenny? If it really hurts that bad to sing, he should find another line of work. Geez

  • Thanks opry folks not giving this ladie a ride to the show

  • Top notch. What country is supposed to sound like!!!!

  • @thundereye92 she was killed in a car wreck in Nashville
