My Peavey Delta Blues guitar amp through a Boss HM-2 distortion pedal. I've installed a Lace Red Sensor guitar pickup on it. Others suggest Seymour Duncan Hot Rails. Low-noise, high-output Strat-style pickups work best. My Lace was a castaway because I thought it sounded too dull, but on bass, it's great.
