14th WKC Men's Teams Semi-finals - Japan vs. Korea - Jiho

The semi-finals of the men's teams division of the 2009 World Kendo Champs, between Korea and Japan. After Japan's defeat to the US in the 13th WKC, Korea were somewhat disappointed not to have faced Japan on the way to their historic win. This time they get their chance. Sempo match.

All that hoping around and sword bashing. I expected better. Korea wasn't even close in skill level against Japan that year. The reason why I was upset is the fact that I'm korean and I have pride for my country and to see them suck that bad was embarrassing to me.

@solo5000 Don't even try to understand , do you know the pression of being in a world final? you can't even argue on that they are fighting for their country not to "show a pretty kendo " or to show people like you that their form is flawless .

In regular practice those kenshi form are extremely beautiful , please don't you try to judge or to criticize them , atleast when they are over there and you are..?

I'm korean myself but wow they suck. All they do is turtle, that damn windshield wiper block, and just swing at everything with no sense, example 2:42 "sigh" Gawd and his form is disgusting. Sorry guys for mad hating, just frustrating you know? And to answer everyones question about the men hit. He blocked after, so it does count. 4:41 why they hell would you sit like that...
