  • I just have one question, if I am making hallways and putting up walls in the middle of my garage how do I make them stand up?

  • @TheBritishWop If you have an unfinished ceiling you can attach a board from your wall to the rafters. Or you might have to attached boards to your walls to support the wall and or hallway. Usually when you make a room the wall will support themselves. My best advice is to do it early and see what you have to do to fix it.

  • Good tips! Putting up walls isn't easy when there's the slightest wind...

  • @evilportrait I really think wind is worse then the rain. I have had my walls up for a month and so far so good. I start early when I am adding so I have time to fix stuff. Once you learn how to do it then it becomes easier.

  • I made walls with painters plastic and rope to hang the plastic on,,but had to use sand to weigh the walls down due to wind.I had the police called a few years ago due to the fact we had cars lined up from our street to the stop sign, and down main street waiting to get in.The cops ask the kids if every1 was having fun, they said yea,,the cops said Happy Halloween and dont block the street. They were cool about it.Good luck this year.

  • @donttrustsnowmen I just had the cop cars just drive up and down my street just seeing why there were so many people in one area. So what kind of precautions do you take to prevent any law suites? I make my haunt as safe as possible and kid friendly. I have rules people have to read like no run, no touching or hitting actors or props stuff like that.

  • @sean2374 U cant stop stupid from sueing.Back in the old days stupid ppl got killed at a early age,due to dangerous toys, lawn darts, kids wood workin tools with real blades etc.Now stupid ppl are protected by lawyers.I post signs up everywhere NO RESPONSIABLE FOR ACCIDENTs,private property enter at own risk etc,or u can have every1 sign a paper stating u cant be held fault for any injuries etc,but still a shady area when kids are involved..My biggest problem is drunks, but they pee easy.lol.

  • @nglemus You can get 1x2s and 2x2s at lowes or home depot. 1x2s are .97 a piece and 2x2s are 1.47 a piece.

  • Where do I buy the 2x2 wood?

  • @Sugars00 How I stand up the walls is I make eight foot by eight foot rooms with two outside walls and two walls with doors. Then I put some boards across the top to give extra support. My next video will show this better.
