@icyberia thank you. I'm sure I could do this with a katana actually. it would in no way be a technique valid to the traditional use of a katana but. . . all I'd have to do is hold the katana with the edge towards me instead of away and do exactly the same thing.

@toth2173 thank you, it is a wrap and in the SCA people use it to circumvent a shield or other protection. it isn't too hard really, you just roll your wrist over and bring the back edge into the target.

@FatGuyWithAKatana thank you, I wanted to get a silent cut on it but I was not able to, that would have made things even harder but I suppose I shouldn't go too hard on the guys this week.
