@parkimedes Thanks, appreciate the info. Been thinking about going. With all the turmoil in the world specifically Middle East I figure I should go while able although wouldn't be going until July/ August 2012 who knows what the Middle East will look like then.
I'm 50/50 right now and leaning against it. Would be very cool to see the Christain sites but not a Holy Roller by any means. The Idea of getting stuck at check points, borders etc...really turns me off!! Once again, thanks MUCH!

I have much interest in Jericho for a multitude of reasons. A long drawn out and complicated situation over there. I enjoyed the footage and appreciate you sharing. Curious of the risk involved in your travels and the date you traveled. Always wanted to go but times and local stability changes rapidly. How do you hire someone for safety? I appreciate your response.
hi there, very interesting videos
i just want to ask you about your overall experience in the Arab world.

@ABsamra2011 Hi, sure, what would you like to ask?? How we liked it? It was amazing! We got lucky with timing! No way we could go to Syria right now. Egypt would be great right now though, the energy there felt really good, and I'm sure its even better with their new-found sense of freedom. We felt totally safe for every part of the trip except the Israeli checkpoints and border.

I've been wanting to go to Palestine, Jeruselem. I'm mixed race French and Black. Here in the states people tell me I look Arab. I don't need the grieve from the Heebs, I can see myself getting pissed.

@waveslider11 If you have a US passport, it should be no problem. At the border, have this attitude: "Israel and the West Bank are all Israel, and as an American you can visit any of it, and they just have a small security issue in some regions." Say you're a Christian going to Jerusalem to see the Jesus site, etc. And you need a reservation too, so call a youth hostel, reserve, and have their name, address and number ready in case the border patrol calls to confirm.

The West Bank which of course includes Jerusalem is now and always has been Israel. Since before Islam existed, and always shall be. God made it his.

@YosupMofo That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. That's like the Nazis saying God made Germany for white people. Think about that a little before encouraging Israel to repeat history.
