  • thanks for sharing, we are looking to adopt

  • I am korean adopted too older than you, for me is too late this advice!!! but is quite good well done

  • Thanks so much for sharing!

  • any updates on finding your birth mom or sister?

  • I'm not adopted and my parents lied to me about how they met. They met in a "one flew over the coo-coo's nest hospital". I'm serious.

  • "Korean babies are the fattest and happiest!" omg lol I wonder if she really thought that or she made a better commission when adopting Korean babies. I have no idea. I'm just wondering.

  • it is nice that your adoptive parents had such supportive extended family.

I think you are right about the adoptive parents have a responsibility to be honest to the child when the child asks. Lieing to the child, IMHO, will harm feelings of trust in the relationship the child has for the parent.

  • Word of advice: Show a little skin, you will have more views.

    just saying.

  • Really like your thoughts, thanks for sharing!

  • By the way, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts and feelings, it helps other adoptees like me feel less alone with our adoption related problems.
