I think the checkpoints are placed like this because the creator of the level was thought you gonna place them 1 by 1 .....you know ...like not all at the same time :)

Yeah, I know :D Sry to confuse you, I'm talkin about TRA. Finished it just a couple of minutes ago and I still didn't use a single healthpack thx to those darn checkpoints! Had like 60 small ones and 35 large ones for no use lol

I don't understand why they skipped the quicksave/quickload and replaced it with checkpoints... The olny difference is that you need to use the menu to get to last saved checkpoint -.-
Oh, and the fact that you get health fully restored everytime you spawn at a checkpoint, no matter if you had low health when you reached the checkpoint! I just got to Egypt and still haven't used one healthpack yet, that's fucked up!
