@boricuaDV We've yet to have a dissatisfied customer on that product...and we do have a full money back warranty on all products. I'm not sure what you feel we have to prove...our customers have proven the mount for us, in the field, and have done so for decades. I'm sorry you seem to have such antipathy for our firm, our products, and our customers. I'm not certain where it comes from, but if you have a valid issue to discuss in a rational manner we're always open to input.

@boricuaDV Our mount is 3 point...and has been in use for nearly 20 years. It is used widely by the US military and with a number of foreign military units. All of our products have cage codes, and if you are a gov't purchasing agent you will find us in the DOD guide and the Homeland Security online catalog. This mount has been purchased mainly by small, elite units, versus DOD contract...and those good folks would likely be somewhat ill-humored at being called wanna-be's.

@TacpWannabe "cum hoc ergo propter hoc" - it's related, but in no way the 2nd Amendment is the cause. Japan did not have a 2nd Amendment and the US did not invade anyway, so your point is moot.
A firearm requires a certain range to be effective. It is easily distinguishable from common objects.
A bomb can be detonated by cellphone, does not involve direct confrontation against professional soldiers, and causes much more psychological damage. And it's not as suspicious.

@bf2lover42 sure, thats why we acknowledged that fact and just bombed the living shit out of it.

@marypoppins2009 Why did the Americans preferred to drop some of the most destructive devices on civilian zones rather than occupy Japan?
Because the US would never be able to fully invade Japan either. Every citizen would fight to the death with their bare hands if they needed to. It would lead to a complete slaughter and the US would retreat.
Anyone have or can compare this to the Springfield's 4th generation solid steel scope mount for the M1A? I have a NM M1A and want to scope it but I'm comparing the mounting systems. To me the obvious choice is the scope mount made for the rifle by the manufacturer of the rifle. But I've been wrong.

@ThatGuyThomas90 I have not compared the two...sorry.

The CASM Scope Mount blows this Old Design away!

@CDNHottie69 It's a matter of taste...but there are differences. The McCann is all steel, and gets the scope a bit closer to the action for a better cheek weld. They are working on a version with a slot down the center to hold the ACOG and the new Leupold HAMR scopes as well...that will cut a half-inch of height off mounting those scopes on the CASM.
