hey, shouldnt the wire coming from the capacitor that you are arcing to be coming off the side of the capacitor that the diode is connected to? as that would give you 4kv dc pulses, it looks and sounds like your getting raw ac through this setup?
i did the same thing but i suggest going to a 15 amp fuse... alltho it dissent last long ether... it amazes me that you can power a small house with the amount just that draws
