Part 2 of the Autumn Leaves lesson on basic shell voicings. Remember: If you don't use the 5ths of the chords, you have more mobility across the neck, can add basslines, and neighbor chords, and the 3rd 7th motion is a lot easier to see.   • this is going to be a real dumb question but when you say the 5th of something - what does that mean? - is it if its a a minor 7th chord then the scale of a minor 7th its the 5th note?
