@effteapea I think the North Americans do their irony in a different and gentler way, and I think their sarcasm bypasses Europeans completely. Like the "Daily Show" - in Europe, most ppl think their comedy is very weak, and we don't understand why it's funny.

Sarah SIlverman is another story however - but she seems way too aggressive.

Is there a word to describe something that is free of irony?
