Maher reminds me how similar McCain's choice of Palin is to Bush's ill-fated selection of his cleaning lady for the Supreme Court.

It's really not about competence to do the job. Any schmo can assemble good advisors and avoid blowing the place up (if that is their desire).

It IS about policy: Supreme Court and abortion and war on drugs and environment and world-bullying.

Just say no to McCain/Palin; for peace, prosperity, and liberty.

Completely wrong. McCain promises more wars and taxcuts in the middle of economic crises. USA will quickly go completely bankrupt.

mccain is hardly the lesser of two evils. he is 72 years old and has a dunce for a running mate.electing him is like commiting national suicide. Besides, hearing his whistling and seeing his 10 million blinks everytime he talks has gotten really old.

The last decade was pretty much totally dominated by the GOP and they are given so many passes for their colossal fuck ups. Not to mention the Rove politics they brought to the table.
