The best metal shapers in the world give a run down how to make a car panel from a single piece of steel with no joints or welds using basic hand tools in their second Tech Tip. Check out these complex shapes and be impressed. These guys are the best in the world. They debunk the myth that you need expensive machinery to make panels.

Whether restoring, building, repairing or modifying external body panels, all work can be carried out using hand working techniques, minimal equipment and basic hand tools. As the shape of a panel is unique to each particular car there is a great deal of patience and practice required to achieve the desired result.

Their passion for panel fabrication is clear from watching this video. Peach and Tommasini can also be seen on the Australian Television Show "Gasolene" that is currently screening on Channel 31. You can also view their work on a DVD collection. http://www.gasolene.biz

  • These two gentlemen are true craftsman, I take my hat off to you and your skills. What amazing work you generate. How can a person purchase these instructional videos?

  • These guys are great. I'm very happy that they made this as I was under the impression that you DID have to have the expensive tools. I'm new to metal forming and am trying to do it with next to nothing as far as hand tools. Very encouraging.
