  • I bought a Roscopp deck that day, and I still have it.

  • That place was amazing. When Monty and Christian were there and a few other pro's my friend and I didn't have a ride back to GR. Monty and Christian took us back and happened to being staying at the same hotel we were staying at. That was awesome. I was at all those demo's. I have some great pictures from those demos. I need to scan them and post them to my FB page for everyone to look at. I have some great shots of Monty and Christian doing some huge Christ Airs. Brian Mank, Alva?

  • LMAO @ PIL's "Seattle" on the soundtrack

  • Wow, thanks for posting! I remember going to all those demos at W3. I would've been 13 at this one, crazy! Remember how hot the surface of that ramp would get? It would totally burn you! Thanks again!

It is awesome that you guys remember this stuff. I was just a kid when these demos went down at W3. I have great memories of the SuperStructure. That ramp was intimidating! The demos were insane & always packed! Ron Allen & Sean Sheffey would come skate in Battle Creek where I grew up a lot. I will keep looking for the other demos for you guys. I've got photos from the Miller, Phillips & Schroeder demo. there a site that you guys have your photos posted so I can add mine?

  • Bill rules... he owns the k-zoo skatezoo...

Looking through some pics I see Miller, Schroeder, and Phillips all in the same shot. Those are from '89. I also have pics from the same year with Hawk, McGill, Magnusson, Allen, and a few others. Not the same day though. I have an autograph that says Christ '87 from Hosoi, and Nolder signed my Billy Ruff deck with the jester puppet and bomb graphic. Ron Allen is in a lot of my pics, and I remember skating with him on random weekdays there. I think Sergie Ventura came in '89.

  • I remember Ben Schroeder there. Also Ron Allen one time. I took Steve Douglas and Bod Boyle there in '89 cause they were staying at my house for a WSA contest in Lansing (Danny Way got first, Reese second, Bod third).

  • @jinxthirteen I saw Miller there and I know it wasn't with McGill, Tony Mag, Tony Hawk, Phillips, or Cab, because I missed those guys there. I was on the deck when Hosoi bit it, and to be honest he seemed to play the crowd a bit on that. He didn't really hang up, he clipped in and it tossed him but I didn't think it was as bad as he made it look by laying there for three minutes. Tocco was there going 8 ft. up and forcing Hosoi to do his very best.

I think that was '87 maybe earlier. I was in 6th or 7th grade for that one. Hosoi wrecked his hip on a nasty hang up. Miller was '89 I think with McGill, Tony Mag, Hawk, Phillips, so many on that one, Cab too I think. I have a bunch of crap photos from those demos. Always searched for the videos online. If I could get my hands on the tapes they used to rent at the Rockford store I'd be like a kid on Christmas morning...
