Ok so your temperature is too high I recon, use the PID to drop it down to 94degrees and if you take the drip tray out you can change the the brew pressure which is also quite high. bring the brew pressure down so the lower gauge reads between 6 and 8 bar. when brewing your shots the needle will find it's way to the correct 9-9.5bars of pressure.
Shame we can't see this awesome machine in action.
