After Alfred made it 40-37 with thirty seconds to go in the fourth quarter, Frostburg drove 45 yards (after starting at its own 30) to the Alfred 25. After a timeout by Frostburg with six seconds to go, Sophomore Jonathan Adams (Hagerstown, MD) comes on to attempt a 42 yard field goal attempt.

A perfect snap, a perfect hold, and the kick is GOOD. Adams makes the field goal to tie the score at 40 heading into overtime.

Frostburg would go on to win 54-53 in double overtime in their homecoming game.
