  • @Tomazimon I have no reason not to believe its a true story, but I've no idea of the legal details of what he said about the story or care, I don't remember stuff like that or care about being accurate much, don't be so English and anal-retentive about it; he might've been fined in contempt of court or however they do it. Like tombutleruk said, I just saw someone tell it on 'Have I Got News For You' and I thought it was funny so I decided to mention it here to give everyone a laugh

  • @TheMarrification Nice story, but it's not true. Courts simply don't operate like that.

  • @TheMarrification HA HA HA HA HA That is HILLARIOUS

  • Maybe Albert thinking that he can speak german is where Del gets the idea that he (Del) can speak french as he often gets bonjour (hello) and au revouir (goodbye) mixed up, plus in rock and chips Freddie teaches Joan french phrases which Del then says to Glenda's parents when he has tea at Glenda's house to which Glenda's parents are highly offended, meaning that he maybe got the idea from Freddie too, plus in one episode of OFAH Rodney tell Del that his french phrases come from a citroen manual

  • leave this to me: vot is yor nem?

    ROFLMAO

  • Del and albert Classic old cojers :) Vat ish you name?? lmao

  • i feel sorry for all the germans who watch this with german overdubs/subtitles and don't get the joke! :P

  • @TheMarrification Happened in Glasgow me thinks. I recall Charles Kennedy (ex Lib Dem leader) telling the story on BBC1's "Have I Got News For You".
