- Kurt Angle's injuries as he announced them (three cracked vertebrae and two herniated discs) are legit, but he is expected to work the Slammiversary show against AJ Styles. It will be a total of five weeks off for Angle, as he isn't expected to wrestle until that show. Angle still sees Dr. Jho for his neck injuries. Jho is someone in the industry that people have basically stayed clear of, due to his procedure being such a short fix. People that have undergone the fusion surgery have not had all of the extra issues that Angle has had. The feeling now is that even if Angle was interested in the fusion surgery, is that it could end his career due to how much damage he has taken.
