part 10/10 FINAL

documentary about the making of the 1982 blockbuster classic. The story is told through interviews with director Steven Spielberg, co-producer Kathleen Kennedy, sound designer Ben Burtt, composer John Williams, and other key cast and crew members. It also includes rare, behind-the-scenes footage taken at the time of the original production, and deleted scenes not seen in the final cut (including the legendary "Principal Scene" with Harrison Ford).

  • I was not born when this movie was released in 82. I was born in 84 and I remember seeing on video at like 3 or 4. But I was lucky enought to get to experience it in the theatre when it was released in 2002 for the 20th Anniversary. I loved it even more after seeing it in the Theatre and on the big screen. This is my all time favorite movie. Nothing will ever beat it. E.T. will always have a special place in my heart.

  • Spielberg is a dream maker

Williams makes these dreams come true

  • No remake, no prequel, no sequel required. Don't mess with perfection. The kindest, sweetest and most lovable movie of all time.

  • Extra-testikel

  • if someone decided to remake the movie of e.t. do you think anyone would watch it?

  • @lovelydiva06 I think he meant the 2002 Special Edition E.T., with previously deleted scenes put back in, with a CG E.T.

I MUCH prefer the original theatrical version. This is what I grew up with since I was younger than Elliot's edge, back in the '80s.

  • et in general is a wellmade film but compared to losing an immediate relative the ending is superficial unless you put the one you lost through death in ets place than the ending takes on more of a meaning in general. i can tear up at the end but i look at it as my personnel goodby to my father untill we meet again in eternity. the life after this one.

  • the Et ride is the secret sequel to ET

  • @ouksixela Come on. You and I both know that it wouldn't be the same. It's a child's movie, not an adult's movie.

  • @TheGaz76 it was the 80's, what did you expect todays cgi, it was good enough for its time
